We are the Episcopal Church of South Sudan & Sudan University Partnership.
(That's ECSSSUP for short!)
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with The Episcopal University (TEU), a new Christian university in South Sudan, to educate leaders for a peaceful and prosperous nation.
South Sudan desperately needs doctors, nurses, teachers, engineers, agriculturalists, entrepreneurs and, most of all, great leaders who are committed to building their country.
We believe education in South Sudan is critical to the development of the world’s newest country.
WHY WE DO IT
What We Do
ECSSSUP works with the Episcopal Church of South Sudan in its vision and mission to establish a Christian foundation university with campuses in different parts of the country.
We work shoulder-to-shoulder with TEU by:
Fundraising for projects and ongoing costs through individual and institutional donors.
Overseeing the delivery of critical projects that have external funding
Representing TEU, networking on its behalf and brokering new partnerships
Capacity building in country and offering advice on higher education governance and strategy
Identifying and recruiting individuals with appropriate skills for TEU
